Drug Classes

A term referring to the organization of different drugs either by their effects, compounds, or legal classification. In terms of the law, drugs are classified from the most dangerous to the least on a scale of A (the most dangerous) to C (the least). In terms of effects, drugs are often classified as one of the following: stimulants, depressants, hallucinogens, dissociative, opioids, inhalants, cannabis.
