12 Steppers is Looking for Volunteer Contributors
Writers
To ensure that our content is as accurate as possible, we’re looking for active members of 12 step programs to write content for the website. If you’re interested in writing for 12steppers.org, it’s a great way to be of serviceAA and other 12-step fellowships do not normally have employees. Instead, members volunteer and take roles necessary for the operation of the different groups and the larger infrastructure of the fellowship. Common roles of service include secretary, treasurer, and chairing meetings. More to new and existing members. Please submit form below.
Video Speakers
We’re looking to add speaker videos for those who are unable to access a 12 step meetingThe term ’12 Step Meeting’ refers to a gathering of individuals who follow the 12-step program to recover from addiction or other compulsive behaviors. These meetings are typically safe and anonymous spaces for people to share their experiences and support one another in their recovery journey. The … More and would like to watch a speaker video. If you’d like to submit a 15-30 minute video of you sharing12-step meetings are structured so that member sharing takes up most of the allotted time. It is the bread and butter of the fellowship between members. When sharing, addicts are encouraged to stay on topic and avoid interrupting by engaging in crosstalk. More your experience, strength and hope, let us know and we can send over format information.
Requirements & Info:
- Must be an active memberAn individual who attends 12-step program meetings and has the desire to overcome addiction. More of a 12 step programA 12 step program includes 12 steps of recovery to help those struggling with substance addictions or behavioral addictions. - This is a non-paid volunteer contribution role. This means that members that submit content to 12steppers for publishing will not be compensated. Once submitted, 12steppers.org reserves the right to publish content and will only remove it upon request but the original contributor.
- Must be ok with us either publishing your content under the general 12steppers.org author account or by using your first name, last initial with an author bio.
- You can write about any and all programs that you have experience with. You can send us topics that you’d like to write about or we can send you a list of topics that you can write about.
- We do not include links out to other websites unless they are informational and approved by 12steppers.org. If you’re looking for backlinks, this is not the way to get it.
